To report a water or sewer outage or break call (573) 437-2125 during normal business hours.  After hours call (573) 437-7770 or 9-1-1 for the department to be dispatched.

WATER:  The City has approx. 28 miles of water lines ranging from 4" to 10" water lines.  The City has 4 deep wells and 4 water towers.  The City has 2 tanks that hold 300,000 gallons, one tank holds 150,000 gallons and one tank holds 75,000 gallons which provide a total reserve 825,000 gallons between the 4 towers.  The City provides water treatment and chlorination

SANITARY SEWER:  The City has approx. 35 miles of sewer lines ranging from 4" to 18" pipe.  The City has a Lemna Technology System that consists of a fine screen to take out some coliids, a complete mixing cell, two partial mix cells, a setting area, a polishing area, and utra violet disinfection.  This system is located at the City waste water treatment plant off Baker road.
