The City of Owensville would like to send a warm farewell to Mayor John Kamler as he departs his office with the City of Owensville after a combined 16 years of civil service duties! His leadership has been an invaluable asset to the community.

The city would like to welcome Kevin McFadden as the new Mayor! Kevin was elected on April 2, 2024 and will serve a 2-year term. Mayor McFadden and the BOA appointed Danny Breeden to the position of Ward 1 Alderman. Welcome Alderman Breeden! He will serve the conclusion of McFadden’s 2-year term.

HWY 28 Paving Project

Hwy 28 , Capital Paving is scheduled to start on March 28th with milling transitions and once completed, the asphalt paving should start. Expect Delays and please use caution while driving in the work zones.
